Lucknow: A tragedy took place on Tuesday evening in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. One of the four storied buildings collapsed. It is reported that up to sixty people were trapped under the debris in this accident. Three dead bodies have already been recovered by the support teams.
A residential complex on Wazir Hassanganj Road collapsed on Tuesday evening. Eyewitnesses say that the building collapsed suddenly. On receiving information about the accident, the police and emergency personnel immediately reached the spot. It seems that tens of people are trapped under the rubble. It is known that on Tuesday, the earth shook heavily in the areas around Uttarakhand, Delhi and NCR. The National Center for Seismology has announced that the earthquake is 5.8 on the Richter scale. On the other hand, there is a discussion that the building collapsed due to cylinder explosion. The reasons for the accident are yet to be clarified.
Wazir Hassanganj Road, Hazratganj area is home to old buildings. It seems that the collapsed building is Alaya Apartments building. Laughter is heard in the background of relief efforts. The details of the damage are yet to be known.
