The life of Queen Elizabeth-2.. is a chapter to be remembered not only by Britain but by the whole world. As an empress who ruled a kingdom for a long time, she left an indelible mark on herself. Moreover.. during her reign she paid special attention to many countries. India is also included in it.
The Indian chapter of Queen Elizabeth-2’s journey is also very special. She gave great importance to India. In this order, during the visit of former President of India Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan to London, she personally came and welcomed her.
Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, who served as the President of India from 1962 to 1967, visited Britain in 1963. Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, renowned as a teacher, educationist and reformer, received a royal welcome in Britain like never before. Queen Elizabeth II herself arrived at Victoria Railway Station and welcomed Sarvepalli. Princess Marina and Princess Margaret also accompanied him to the station.

Along with the dignitaries of the royal family and the highest military officers of the country, Sarvepalli was escorted by the queen with royal courtesies by singing the national anthem Janganamana. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan toured different parts of Britain for a total of 11 days. Sarvepalli toured tourist areas along with industries, buildings and bridges that mirror Britain’s industrial wealth. When Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan came to watch traditional British horse racing, Queen Elizabeth herself came along.

Elizabeth looked very sober and beautiful in the video. While the Queen is seen in three different British attires in the video, many Indian women are seen in the traditional saris of the day. After a long journey, Elizabeth passed away in a video from the British Film Institute.
