Bhopal: A man faced many difficulties to take his pregnant wife to the hospital. As the ambulance did not come, he was taken to the local hospital on a cart, but there were no doctors there. At least they had to be taken to the district hospital as there were no nurses. This heartbreaking incident came to light in Damoh district of Madhya Pradesh.
Kajal, the wife of Kailas Ahirwar of Raneh area in the district, is pregnant. Kailas called the ambulance because she was having stomach pains on Tuesday. No matter how many times I called, the ambulance did not come. He made her lie down on a wheelbarrow and took her to a primary health center a kilometer away. When Tira went there, the doctor and nurse were not available in the hospital. At a loss as to what to do, some people who were there called an ambulance. He was taken to Hata Community Health Center by ambulance. The doctors there referred to the district hospital. Finally he is being treated at the district hospital. He said that a comprehensive investigation will be conducted by asking the District Medical Officer RP on this incident.
