digital desk,Gurugram. 1,879 new cases of active Kovid-19 in Gurugram have reached 5,356 on Friday. Currently, out of 5,356 infected people, 36 are hospitalized, while 5,320 people have been kept in home isolation.
According to the official daily health bulletin, the total number of COVID-19 cases in Gurugram has now risen to 18,92,16.
However, no death was reported in the city on Friday. A total of 18,29,33 have been cured and discharged so far, including 743 on Friday.
It has been observed that Gurugram is reporting maximum number of COVID cases from higher societies. There are now 23 containment zones in the district.
Gurugram’s Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Virendra Yadav said that efforts are being made by the district administration and the health department to contain the spread of the virus.
Yadav said, maximum Kovid patients are recovering in home isolation. E-Sanjeevani OPD App has been launched for the patients in home isolation, on which they are given free health consultation by a team of doctors.
