Vidhan Sabha Election 2022Assembly elections are to be held in 5 states of the country next month. The corona vaccination certificates that will be issued in these states will not have the name or picture of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. According to the information received by India Today, the Union Health Ministry has put filters for this on the CoWin platform.

Let us inform that on Saturday itself, the dates of voting have been announced in 5 states. With this, the model code of conduct has come into force in these states. In such a situation, whatever vaccination certificates will be given to the people of Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Manipur and Goa, there will be no photo or name of PM Modi on it.

Similar exercise was also done in the assembly elections held in West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Assam and Puducherry last year. Actually, the picture of PM Narendra Modi on the vaccination certificate of Corona has been criticized by the opposition leaders. However, in December last year, the Kerala HC had dismissed a petition seeking removal of PM Modi’s photograph from the vaccination certificate.

Voting will be done in so many phases in these states

The Election Commission of India (ECI) on Saturday announced the schedule of assembly elections in five states. Therefore, polling in Punjab, Uttarakhand and Goa will be held in a single phase on February 14, while in Manipur, voting will be held in two phases on February 27 and March 3. In Uttar Pradesh, voting will be held in seven phases (February 10, February 14, February 20, February 23, February 27, March 3 and March 7). Whereas the election results will come on March 10.
