Where there is a possibility of more than 25 thousand cases coming in Maharashtra today, it has been said that 10 thousand cases will come in Delhi.

Meanwhile, Delhi and Mumbai also made some big announcements. Due to the increasing cases, now more attention will be paid to antigen test in Maharashtra. It has been said that it is not possible to do RT-PCR test for everyone due to increase in cases, so now there will be Rapid Antigen Test (RAT).

Earlier, Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain had said a big thing. He told that genome sequencing to check whether Omicron is there or not is no longer possible because a large number of patients are coming. He said that now sample sequencing is happening and it has been confirmed that Omicron variant has arrived in the country. Jain also told that now Delhi is capable of conducting three lakh corona tests daily.

Let us inform that the total number of Omicron cases in the country has increased to 2,135. Maharashtra and Delhi have the highest number of 653 and 464 cases of Omicron.

No lockdown in Maharashtra but restrictions are tightened

Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope said that lockdown is not being imposed in the state but there will be strict restrictions. The minister told this after a meeting on the Corona crisis. It was said that new Kovid guidelines will be issued after the order of Chief Minister Thackeray. The minister has expressed the possibility of 25 thousand corona patients coming to the state today. However, it is a matter of relief that 90 percent of the patients do not have symptoms and the hospitalization rate is also only 1 percent. He advised patients with mild symptoms of corona to take Flavipiravir and Molnupiravir.
