Politics is going on in Madhya Pradesh regarding OBC reservation. On Sunday, the OBC Mahasabha, while protesting against Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, warned of gherao of the CM House. In view of this, the police took Bhim Army chief Chandrashekhar Ravana into custody from the airport on Sunday morning. Apart from this, many leaders of OBC Mahasabha have been kept in custody or under house arrest by the police.

In view of the warning of siege of CM House, Bhopal Police has made tight security arrangements in the capital. There is police guard everywhere and all the roads leading to CM House have been closed.

Let us inform that OBC organizations have demanded 27% OBC reservation. Now the politics on the custody matter has intensified even before the performance of the OBC General Assembly. Former Chief Minister of the state Kamal Nath has attacked the Shivraj government by tweeting.

Kamal Nath said that the protest was already announced in Bhopal today by the OBC Mahasabha demanding OBC reservation in Panchayat elections. But I don’t know why Shivraj’s government is avoiding OBC class, why has the government turned to their suppression?

He said that the BJP and its affiliated organization have the freedom to organize all the events, but there is a ban on organizing the OBC category..? Earlier the office-bearers of OBC Mahasabha and people of this class were stopped from coming to Bhopal by blockade and now they are being detained, suppressed, work is being done to suppress the movement, they are being beaten up. And all this is happening in a government that claims to be the benefactor of this class?

He said that no matter how much you suppress the OBC, Dalit, Adivasi class, it will continue to fight for the demand of its rights. It’s not scary. Congress stands with these sections and we are always determined for their interest, upliftment and welfare.
