On Saturday, a meeting of BJP leaders and workers was held in the presence of State General Secretary Pawan Sai at District BJP Office, Durg to prepare the outline of the movement. In the meeting, BJP leaders and workers have expressed displeasure over the statement of Durg Lok Sabha constituency member Vijay Baghel. At the same time, the MP said that he has not insulted anyone, but has boosted the morale of everyone. District BJP media in-charge Kulwinder Chauhan has said in a statement that in the meeting, MP Vijay Baghel has raised questions on the functioning of the BJP organization. The MP said that the organization is not working to its full potential.

On this, State Working Committee member Rakesh Pandey said that repeatedly putting question marks on the work and workers of the organization is an insult to the worker and the organization. We should avoid this, he said that organization is paramount, nothing is above the organization. Virendra Sahu, former mayor Chandrika Chandrakar, Sanvla Ram Dare and others have expressed their displeasure over this statement of the MP. State organization general secretary Pawan Sai, district in-charge Purandar Mishra, MLA Vidyaratan Bhasin, former minister Prem Prakash Pandey, Ramshila Sahu, Jai Singh Rajput and others were present in the meeting.

A crowd of one and a half hundred will not work

In this matter, MP Vijay Baghel has said that he did not say anything wrong in the meeting. After about 18 and a half years, there is going to be a big movement of BJP in the form of big jails in the state. A crowd of one hundred and one and a half hundred will not work in this. BJP has many cells, there should be a crowd of at least ten thousand. For this everyone will have to work together. I didn’t say anything that would offend anyone. The MP said that the big leaders of the party have also instructed to mobilize a good crowd regarding the Jail Bharo movement. There is an election in front and work will have to be done keeping this in mind.
