Covid cases in Mumbai: Corona continues to wreak havoc in the country. Corona cases have created a stir in Maharashtra, but in Mumbai on Monday, there was a decrease in the cases of infection as compared to the previous day. In the financial capital of the country, 11647 Kovid cases have been reported and 2 deaths have occurred within the last 24 hours. Along with this, the test positivity rate has also come down to 19 percent, earlier it was 23 percent.
On Monday, the number of corona infected in Mumbai reached 13648. These patients came in twenty four hours. Apart from this, 5 deaths from Corona were also registered on the same day in the financial capital of the country. At the same time, 19, 474 new patients were confirmed here on Sunday. On Saturday, 20 thousand 318 new Kovid positives were found, while on Friday 20 thousand 971 were found corona infected.

Will the government impose lockdown in Mumbai?
In view of the increasing cases in Mumbai, is the state government considering imposing a lockdown? Answering this question, Mumbai Mayor Kishori Pednekar has said that the Chief Minister believes that no lockdown should be imposed, but people are still not serious about Corona and are not wearing masks. People should follow all the rules of Corona. Earlier, the Mayor had said that a lockdown would be imposed in Mumbai if there were 20000 cases per day.
