Of the 46 patients who died between January 5 and January 9, 25 patients were above 60 years of age. The age of 14 patients was between 41 and 60 years. 5 patients were in the age group of 21 to 40 years. One patient ranged from 16 to 20 years and one patient was from zero to 15 years of age.

12 out of 46 patients died on the day of hospitalization, while 11 patients died within a day after hospitalization. 6 patients died within two days, 14 patients died within 3 to 7 days and the remaining 3 patients died within a week.
