Now people will not be able to move in groups of 5 or more from 5 am to 11 pm anywhere in Maharashtra. Schools have been ordered to remain closed till February 15.

There will be no movement from 11 pm to 5 am except for essential works. At the same time, no visitor will be allowed to enter government offices with the permission of the head of the department. Along with working from home based on the requirements by the department heads, the working hours will also be made flexible so that the employees can work as per the requirement.

Hair cutting salons and malls will operate at 50% capacity. In Maharashtra, schools, colleges and coaching institutes will remain closed till February 15, with few exceptions. Hotels, restaurants, cinema halls, auditoriums in the state will operate with 50% seating capacity till 10 pm, home delivery of food will be allowed.

Work can be done in offices only with 50 percent capacity. Shifts have been made flexible for the employees and offices can remain open for 24 hours but work will have to be done in shifts. ID cards will be given to such people. Only fully vaccinated employees can be physically present in the office.

Apart from this, now only 50 people will be allowed to attend the wedding in Maharashtra. Only 50 people will be able to participate in social, religious, political, cultural gatherings. Apart from this, the state government has given permission to only 50 people for the funeral.

On the other hand, Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray said about the new restrictions, I repeat that we want to reduce unnecessary crowds but do not want to impose any lockdown. No restrictions will be in effect until we all follow the COVID protocols. I request you to be alert to the symptoms and seek medical advice at the earliest.
