Corona cases are increasing rapidly all over the country. The havoc of Corona continues in Jaipur too. Amidst the Corona explosion, the Rajasthan government has decided to increase the strictness. About 200 cases of Delta and Omicron of Corona have been reported in Jaipur on just one day i.e. Saturday alone. This figure is the highest in the last six months.

52 new cases of Omicron in Rajasthan

A total of 52 new cases of Omicron have been reported in Rajasthan today. Of these, 38 new cases have been reported from Jaipur, 3-3 from Pratapgarh, Sirohi, Bikaner, 2 from Jodhpur and 1-1 from Ajmer, Sikar and Bhilwara.

While doing contact tracing of all these Omicron positive people, isolation is being done in the dedicated Omicon ward. Out of these 52 persons, 9 have returned from foreign travel, 4 persons have been in contact with foreign travelers and 12 persons have traveled from other states. Of these, two were in contact with Omicron found in the past. Till Saturday, 121 people have been found Omicron positive in Rajasthan. Of the 69 Omicron infected people found earlier, 61 have recovered.

Preparations for ban on leaving the house from February 1!

Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has asked the officials that both the doses should be applied to the entire population by January. And those who are not getting the vaccine, a rule should be made to ban their exit from the house. He has said that from February 1, those without vaccine will be banned from leaving the house.

On January 3, the increasing cases of corona will be reviewed and a decision will also be taken on closing the school and college. The Rajasthan government did not ban the celebration of the new year, due to which there were a lot of new year parties all over Jaipur. In December alone, 6 lakh tourists have come to Jaipur. Rajasthan government can end the exemption by tomorrow, implement new restrictions.

Strictness in public places

A large number of devotees have come to the temples without masks on the new year, due to which the risk of spreading corona infection has increased. From tomorrow, Rajasthan Police will be on the road and those who remove masks will be challaned. Big temples like Moti Dungdi and Govind Devji of Jaipur have decided to allow entry in the temple only to the devotees who have applied both doses of vaccine from tomorrow.

The number of people attending religious events and political rallies has also been limited. Not more than 200 people can attend here, else a fine of 10,000 will be imposed. But it is nowhere to be seen. Meetings of politicians are also being held and events are also being held in temples. Large temples of Rajasthan like Mehandipur Balaji and Khatu Shyam ji have witnessed huge crowd of devotees.
