Is lockdown the only solution?

Cases of corona infection are increasing rapidly all over the world. There is already a lockdown in Britain. China has also imposed complete lockdown in Xian, Tianjin and Anyang. So can lockdown be imposed in India as well?

So far no concrete evidence has been found to prove that the lockdown has been effective in stopping the corona. Yes, it is necessary that the pace of infection slows down and the governments get time to increase the health infrastructure.

The World Health Organization (WHO) also says that the speed of corona slows down due to lockdown but it has a negative effect on society and people.

John Nikengsong, director of South Africa’s Center for Disease Control (CDC), says that complete lockdown is not an effective way to prevent corona. He told that at the end of November, the cases in Africa had increased rapidly and in a short time also started decreasing. But as before, this time complete lockdown was not imposed.

But the speed of Corona is not stopping in India

Corona cases in India have started accelerating from 28 December. According to the Ministry of Health, 1.94 lakh new cases have been reported on Tuesday, which is 16% more than Monday. Not only this, the number of deaths is also not decreasing. On Tuesday, 442 patients died in the country. On Monday, 277 people died.
