Along with this, he has said that there will be no lockdown in Delhi. There is no need for laborers and migrants to panic.

Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain said that ever since Omicron has come, cases are increasing rapidly in Delhi in 10-15 days. People have very mild symptoms. Cases are increasing but people are not falling seriously ill. In the last two days, 84 percent cases were from Omicron.

Government took the decision of weekend curfew

In view of the increasing cases of corona in Delhi, the government has decided to impose weekend curfew. Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia held a meeting with DDMA and gave information in this regard. He has said that seeing the behavior of the Omicron variant so far, it does not look too dangerous. But still, keeping in view the circumstances, there can be no negligence of any kind.

Sisodia said that the more we can control the pace of its growth, the better it will be. For this, we have decided in the DDM meeting that there will be a weekend curfew in Delhi on Saturday and Sunday. Secondly, all the government offices in Delhi, except for essential work, all employees will work from home. Only 50 percent of the staff will work in private companies.

Manish Sisodia said that due to 50 percent seat capacity in buses and metro, there were long lines, due to which the risk of super spread of Omicron increased from there. Due to this, it has been decided that buses and metro will now run with full capacity but no one will get entry without a mask. Masks will be made mandatory at all times. In response to a question, Sisodia said that there will be a complete curfew on Saturday and Sunday.

Government will do real-time monitoring of oxygen supply

The Delhi government has geared up against the third wave of Corona. On Tuesday, the government has issued an action plan to make the oxygen supply smooth and real-time monitoring in the state.

The Delhi government said in a statement on Tuesday that a total of 53 hospitals in Delhi, including government and private ones, have telemetry devices installed in oxygen tanks. Their live monitoring will be done through the Kovid War Room.
