Madhya Pradesh Crop Compensation: Due to the torrential rains in various districts of Madhya Pradesh, crops of a large number of farmers have been damaged. In many districts, the crops of farmers have been damaged due to hailstorm. Now the Madhya Pradesh government has decided to give compensation to the farmers whose crops have been damaged. Madhya Pradesh Agriculture Minister Kamal Patel told that 25 percent compensation will be given to these farmers immediately.
State Agriculture Minister Kamal Patel said, “The weather has been bad for the last two-three days. Crops have been damaged due to rain and hailstorm. The officials have been asked to visit the affected villages. 25 percent compensation will be given immediately.
Earlier, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had also given instructions to the officials regarding the damage to crops due to hailstorm. He had said, “In the villages of many districts of the state, crops have been damaged due to hailstorm. I have given instructions that wherever the crops of farmers brothers and sisters have been destroyed due to hailstorm, they should immediately survey and assess the damage, after which relief amount will be given. Instructions have also been given to get the benefit of crop insurance scheme.

Let us inform that in Niwari district of Madhya Pradesh, crops have been badly damaged due to hailstorm on Sunday morning. In more than half a dozen villages including Madiya, Dumduma, Para Khera of Prithvipur block of Niwari district, snow cover was seen in the fields due to hailstorm for 20 minutes. There has been a lot of damage. Due to the complete destruction of standing crops in the fields, a woman named Butter Rajak was seen crying helplessly. He says that agriculture is the only source of livelihood for his family. In the event of crop failure, a huge crisis has arisen in front of the family.
At the same time, hail has fallen in Mandsaur district with heavy rain. Due to which a big disaster has come on the farmers. Due to continuous heavy rain and hailstorm in Sendra village and surrounding areas of Mandsaur district, the crops of the farmers have been ruined. When the farmers reached the fields in the morning after overnight rain, other crops including opium have been completely destroyed. Opium is cultivated in Mandsaur district and its plants are also very delicate. In such a situation, opium has been completely ruined due to heavy rain and hail.
