New Delhi. Australia shattered the Indian women’s hockey team’s dream of winning gold in the Commonwealth Games 2022. Australia beat India 3-0 in the penalty shootout. However, after this defeat, people have started accusing Australia of cheating. This victory is being called theft in broad daylight. This is being said after Australia missed on the first penalty stroke. Actually, after the score was equal, a penalty shootout was played between the two teams.
Savita’s effort wasted
Australia’s team missed on the first penalty stroke. Indian captain Savita made a brilliant defense, but the officials again gave Australia the first stroke, as the timer had not started yet. After this, when Australia got the second chance, Australia scored the goal. After this, two more Australian players scored, while Neha, Navneet Kaur and Lalremsiami missed the goal for India.

What a brave fight, girls @TheHockeyIndia.No shame in losing a game like that. #CWC2022
PS: To allow Aus to retake the penalty that they missed just because the timer failed, was absolutely rubbish!
