Despite seeing the terror of two waves of Corona and explaining lakhs, some people are not ready to follow the Kovid protocols at all. Rather, they get angry badly on explaining. Another similar case has come to the fore. Delhi Police here on Sunday said that a 33-year-old man along with his wife and relative allegedly misbehaved with two policemen. When he was stopped for not wearing a mask, he also fired five rounds from the pistol.
Adesh, working on the post of Welfare Officer, is a lawyer by profession. Police said that Adesh, a resident of Patparganj Extension, was traveling in a car with his wife and cousin during late Saturday night curfew. During this, a policeman patrolling near Seemapuri roundabout stopped his vehicle and asked the reason for leaving so late without a mask. Police said that during this a scuffle broke out and another policeman reached the spot.
A senior police officer said that the accused, allegedly under the influence of alcohol, fired five rounds at the ground with his licensed pistol, while the woman sitting next to him misbehaved with the policemen and started assaulting them.
He told that some liquor bottles have also been found from the spot. Police said that an FIR has been registered under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and Arms Act, further investigation is on.
