Aaj Tak has done a reality check before the weekend curfew. During this it came to the fore that people are forced to travel in a packed metro. It is feared that Delhi Metro may not become a super spreader of Corona.
To ensure that there is no problem in traveling in the metro, recently DDMA had decided to run the metro with 100 percent capacity. During this, orders were also given to take some strictness. It was said that there would be a ban on traveling standing in the metro and going without a mask. In reality check these orders of DDM were not observed at all. There were passengers on the seat in the metro, but many passengers were seen standing and traveling.
On the route from Rajiv Chowk to Barakhamba, Kashmere Gate, Chandni Chowk, a large crowd is being seen inside the metro in the morning and evening. People have to travel standing in the metro, whereas DDMA has ordered that there will be travel in the metro with 100 percent seating capacity.
If people traveling in the metro are to be believed, then they are forced to travel in the metro, because apart from the metro, the facility of public transport is not better. People also accepted the fact that no strictness is being taken at the metro station. Neither checking is being done regarding masks nor is the number of passengers being followed.
