Korba (Representative of New Zealand). A meeting of the Village Development Committee was held on Sunday for the Rath Yatra to be held on July 1 in village Dadarkhurd. In which the demand for closure of the government liquor shop operating in the village was agreed on the day of the festival.
Lord Jagannath Swami Kar Yatra is being organized in Dadar for the last 120 years. During the Corona period, there was a specter of transition in the event for two years. After the reduction in the disease, enthusiasm is being seen among the villagers to celebrate according to the undone tradition. Various topics were discussed in the meeting of the Village Development Committee held in the temple premises on Sunday. In this regard, committee chairman Krishna Kumar Dwivedi said that it has been decided to demand closure of the liquor shop operating in the village on the day of the festival. On behalf of the committee, a demand will be made from the collector that dry day should be declared in village Dadarkhurd on the day of Rath Yatra. The Chairman said that there is also a need to start bus service for the access of devotees to the village. Parking is a problem due to the arrival of private vehicles. It will be convenient for the devotees to start the bus service. The meeting also decided on the cleanliness of the village. The Chairman said that due permission will be taken from the administration on Monday for organizing the Rath Yatra. It has to be told that these days Mahaprabhu is walking ill. Because of this, the doors are still closed for the darshan of the common devotees. They are being offered mangoes. The doors will open on the morning of July 1. After the rituals of worship, the Rath Yatra will be taken out at 3 pm.
