Earlier this record was in the name of Team India’s World Champion Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni. In the year 2005, Dhoni had hit 17 sixes in the ODI series against Sri Lanka. After 17 years, this record of Dhoni has been broken by Butler. The third place in this list is South Africa’s AB de Villiers, who has hit 16 sixes in the ODI series. (ICC)

Butler has been in excellent form for the last few days. Before the ODI series against the Netherlands, he also made a splash in the IPL where he was the Orange Cap holder. Thanks to him, the team of Rajasthan Royals was able to reach the final after 14 years. (Rajasthan Royals)
