Ex-minister Karthik Singh’s bail plea rejected, there was a stay on arrest till September 1

The bail of Karthik Singh, former law minister of Bihar government, has been cancelled. The Danapur court has canceled Karthik’s bail plea. Last night, Karthik Singh has resigned from the post of minister. Danapur Court has rejected the anticipatory bail of former Bihar government minister Karthik Kumar in a kidnapping case. The hearing on bail in the Danapur court was completed in the morning, after which the court had reserved its decision.

Let us inform that the department of Law Minister Karthik Kumar was changed on Wednesday morning. He was handed over the sugarcane department. After that late night, Karthik Kumar had resigned from the post of Minister of Sugarcane Department. Now the court has canceled his bail application. After resigning from the post of minister, Karthik Singh had made a big disclosure saying that he had left the post under pressure from the opposition and BJP.

Karthik Singh did not get anticipatory bail

Now the court’s decision on the bail petition of Karthik Singh has also come in front of everyone. The court has canceled the bail of the former minister. BJP had alleged that on the day Karthik Singh was to appear in the court, he took oath as a minister on the same day. BJP alleges that Nitish Kumar had made him Law Minister under the pressure of Lalu Prasad Yadav. Let us tell you that in the year 2014, a case was registered against Karthik Singh in the kidnapping case. He had to resign from the post of minister on this matter. His lawyer Janardan Rai reached the Danapur court today.

No hand of Karthik Singh in kidnapping case – Lawyer

His lawyer told that Karthik Singh is accused of kidnapping Rajiv Ranjan in Bihta. An FIR has also been registered in Bihta police station regarding this. A warrant was issued against him. However, the lawyer also made it clear that the former minister has no hand in this matter. Because there is no evidence against him.
