According to the information, the building where the factory was, was owned by Sushila Lakra, her son Manish Lakra and Manish’s wife Sunita Lakra. An FIR was registered against all three. According to Delhi Police, there was only one way out of the building. More than 100 people were working in the company. No security measures were taken. There was no emergency exit or any separate entrance in the building.

Case of culpable homicide against factory owners

No measures were taken regarding the safety of the employees. The company did not take any measures to protect the employees working more than 100 in case of fire. Earlier, Delhi Police had registered a case of culpable homicide against factory owners Harish Goyal and Varun Goyal.

The police has clearly written in the FIR that there was only one way of entry and exit in the factory. The entry and exit of the factory was closed on the front side of the factory i.e. Rohtak Road. Had the main entry and exit of the factory been open, then perhaps such a big accident would not have happened and 27 people would not have lost their lives.
