Digital Desk, Jaipur. A deaf and mute minor was gang-raped in Alwar, Rajasthan. After that she was thrown on the road near the culvert in a bloody condition. The incident happened on Tuesday night and the condition of the girl remained critical. The girl kept on moaning in pain for about an hour, when people saw her and informed the police.
After this, the police took the girl to a local hospital, where she was admitted to the ICU. She was referred to a hospital in Jaipur late in the night after her condition became critical. The accused of gang rape are yet to be identified.
Meanwhile, Superintendent of Police Tejaswini Gautam told IANS, the girl is currently in JK Lone, Jaipur. Our primary concern is his health and hence he was shifted there and our Deputy SP Anjali is with him. We have formed an SIT team, including six SHOs, who are looking for technical and scientific evidence to arrest the accused.
Gautam said, we came to know that the minor was missing from the nearby village of Malakheda at around 4 pm on Tuesday. We informed his parents and they identified their child. Police is on the lookout for the accused. Officials said that CCTV footage is being examined.
Superintendent of JK Lone Hospital, Dr Arvind Shukla said that a team of seven doctors is treating the girl. It also includes gynecologists and plastic surgeons. The doctor told that the girl has been badly injured by some sharp object.
