Police sources said that terrorists hurled a grenade at a party of security forces in Hari Singh High Street area of ​​Srinagar city on Tuesday afternoon. Sources said, a grenade exploded outside a shop and two civilians were injured in the blast.

The injured have been taken to the hospital for treatment and the area has been cordoned off for search. The windows of the shop were shattered by the explosion and as soon as the sound of the blast came, there was chaos in the busy street of the market. There is always tension in Kashmir around January 26 and August 15, as terrorists try to gain international attention through their attempts to disrupt official operations.
