  • Minister said – the plane was sent for tendering
  • Congress’s allegation – the public was cheated

In Gujarat, PM Narendra Modi had flagged off the sea plane in the year 2020. That sea plane made for the journey from Ahmedabad to Kevadiya is now lying in cold storage. It is being said that the plane has been sent for servicing. But it has been 6 months, neither the plane got fixed nor people are getting a chance to travel in this sea plane.

Now Congress has made it a big issue. In his eyes, the Prime Minister of the country has done the work of misleading the public. According to him, sea plane service was started only for votes. Arjun Modhwadia of Congress says that people were fooled, before the 2017 assembly elections boarded the seaplane and then started this service in 2020 but today it is closed, except to mislead the people, the Prime Minister does nothing. Huh.

For information, let us tell you that the sea plane service was started on 31 October 2020. Then this service was stopped from April 2021. It was said that the plane has been sent to Maldives for recovery. Now so many months have passed, but that plane has not returned from Maldives. In such a situation, SpiceJet, which had taken the responsibility of conducting this journey, has now been pulled back from its side. In such a situation, people are also not able to enjoy the country’s first sea plane service.

On this dispute, Minister in Gujarat government Purnesh Modi says that we have given the plane for tendering. Seaplane service will be resumed as soon as the tendering work is completed. Now no time limit has been given by the minister, only an assurance, due to which the opponents are continuously targeting the government.
