Heavy snowfall in Uttarakhand-Himachal, Meteorological Department issued this warning

Due to snowfall and rain on the mountains in Uttarakhand, the weather has taken a turn. The cold weather has started in the state. It is snowing heavily in Chamoli district since Tuesday morning. Due to snowfall, a few inches of snow froze in places located at all heights of Chamoli including Badrinath Dham, Auli Niti and Mana Valley. The Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for the hilly areas of Uttarakhand. Along with this, IMD has also predicted heavy snowfall for the next four-five days.

Recording a significant drop in the minimum temperature, higher reaches of Himachal Pradesh including parts of Keylong, Lahaul and Spiti district received heavy snowfall on Tuesday. The minimum temperature has dropped to minus four degrees. IMD has issued Yellow Alert for Uttarakhand. What’s the weather prediction for the next 3-4 days ? Watch out.
