Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that we have ended the decades-long wait for Kartarpur Corridor. PM Modi is addressing this function through video conferencing. PM Modi said that recently we have been successful in bringing the form of Guru Granth Sahib to India with respect from Afghanistan.

The PM said that our Sikh Gurus have boosted the morale of the Indian society. Gurunandev ji and our gurus kept India safe along with the consciousness of India. When the country was weakening in the name of caste, then Guru Nanak Dev Ji had said that see the light of God in everyone. He is not identified by anyone’s caste.
‘Babur was demanding the daughter of the government of India with loudness and oppression’
During the program, the PM said that when foreign invaders were trying to grab the power and wealth of India on the strength of the sword, then Guru Nanak Dev Ji had said that Babar had come from Kabul with the sword of sin and oppression. He was loudly and atrociously demanding the daughter-in-law of the government of India.
Guru Tegh Bahadur ji always stood firm for his thoughts.
PM Modi said that the valor and sacrifice of Guru Tegh Bahadur against Aurangzeb teaches us how the country fights against terror and religious fanaticism. Similarly, the life of tenth Guru Gurugobind Singh ji is also a living example of tenacity and sacrifice at every step. At the same time, the way Guru Tegh Bahadur ji has always stood firm for his thoughts towards humanity, he makes us see the soul of India. Also said that even under the British rule, our Sikh brothers and sisters fought with valor for the independence of the country.
Atal Bihari Vajpayee had special affection for Kutch
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that today is also the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. He had a special affection for Kutch. Atal ji and his government stood shoulder to shoulder in the development works done here after the earthquake.
