Jaipur: Age should be decided in politics, Gehlot’s minister’s statement raised political mercury

In Rajasthan, the tension of CM Ashok Gehlot may increase again. On the occasion of the new year, the political mercury in the state has risen due to the statement of Hemaram Choudhary, his minister who came from Barmer and a close aide of Sachin Pilot.

Forest and Environment Minister Hemaram Choudhary said that leaders should take retirement on time keeping in view their age. He said that he has contested the elections 8 times and he does not wish to contest further. Leaders in politics should decide their age.

It is worth noting that Hemaram Chaudhary is considered a staunch supporter of Sachin Pilot and it is constantly said from the supporters of Sachin Pilot that Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has crossed 70. In such a situation, the youth should be given leadership. Many speculations are being made with the announcement of Hemaram Chaudhary not contesting the elections.

On the other hand, MLA Prajapati declared that until Balotra is not made a district within Barmer district, he will not wear shoes. Actually, the Gehlot government has said in the assembly that there is no provision to create any new district in the state. In such a situation, the Congress MLA has opened a front against the government.

Congress district presidents have been made vice-presidents of the 20-point program of the state government. However, while in the opposition, this move of the BJP was opposed by the Congress.
