The work of elimination of terrorists is going on in Jammu and Kashmir. Even today, the security forces have got great success here. In fact, the Srinagar Police has killed the dangerous terrorist Salim Parre of the banned terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba. This information has been given to IGP Kashmir.
Here, another encounter started in Gasu near Shalimar area of Srinagar. Police and CRPF are present on the spot. More information is being gathered in the matter.
It is worth noting that last week, two Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists were killed in an encounter with security forces in Chaugam area of Shopian, Jammu and Kashmir. Official sources told INDIA TODAY that the slain terrorists were identified as Sajjad Ahmed Chek of Braipora, Raja Basit Nazir of Shopian and Achan Pulwama.
Earlier, a joint team of police and army started cordon and search operation of the area in the early hours. As the joint team of police moved towards the suspected spot, the hiding terrorists opened fire on the army personnel. After this, the soldiers took action and killed two terrorists. Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP) arrested two terrorists of The Resistance Front (TRF) involved in the recent killing of a civilian and a police personnel in Srinagar. Both were part of Lashkar’s new hybrid module in the name of TRF.
Let us tell you that terrorist activities are going on continuously in the valley. Recently, terrorists opened fire on a person in Idgah area in Srinagar. The man, identified as Rauf Ahmed Khan, was earlier admitted to the hospital, but he was declared brought dead there.
