Jammu and Kashmir: Security cover of 4 ex-CMs including Mehbooba Mufti and Omar Abdullah downgraded

According to an order of the Jammu and Kashmir government, there is news of a cut in the security of four former CMs here. According to the information, the Special Security Group (SSG) engaged in the security of former Jammu and Kashmir CM Omar Abdullah, Mehbooba Mufti, Farooq Abdullah and Ghulam Nabi Azad will be reduced. After which now all these people will remain at par with other politically protected people.

SSG stands for the security provided to former Chief Ministers of the erstwhile state and now UT. SSG will now be available only to the elected Chief Minister and his family members. In such a situation, it is being told that the SSG security will be removed from the former Chief Ministers of Jammu and Kashmir, OA, FA, MM and GNA. SSG cover will be provided to the sitting CM only.
