Troubled by molestation in Khargone, Madhya Pradesh, a girl committed suicide by drinking insecticide. After being molested and threatened by the youth of the village itself, the girl drank insecticide in the house at night. A 22-year-old girl died after being hospitalized for 3 days.

In fact, in Borda village of Karai police station area, about 70 km from the district headquarters, a boy from the village committed obscene acts with a girl, due to which the girl drank insecticide. Her family members admitted her to the district hospital where the girl died on Sunday night after treatment for 3 days.

After the postmortem of the dead body, the relatives and villagers took it to the Karai police station, where the family members and villagers blocked the road in front of the police station demanding the arrest of the boy.

The girl’s family member Shyam Sawale said, ‘His 22-year-old niece had gone downstairs to the bathroom, during which there was a sound like a fight between the youth of the village and the niece. When I came out of the house, I saw the young man forcing my niece.

He said, ‘On shouting, the youth ran away and the niece narrated the whole incident. After that I sent the niece home. The next day, the boy’s family members called and threatened him and said that if he told this to anyone, he would destroy the family. After this the niece committed suicide by drinking insecticide.

Sanwale accused the police and said that even after complaining, the police did not take action and also took money for it from the accused side. After the death of the girl, the angry relatives kept the dead body on the road in front of the police station and created a ruckus for more than 3 hours.

The family members of the victim were angry with the police for not taking action against the accused in time. At the same time, regarding this matter, the Additional SP said that after getting the matter investigated by Badwah SDOP, further action will be taken.
