Afeem Crop Destroyed in Mandsaur Due to Rain: Due to the turning of the weather in the midst of severe cold, it is raining in many parts of the country. Due to which the farmers are suffering huge losses. Same is the condition of Madhya Pradesh, here in Mandsaur district, hail has also fallen along with heavy rains. Due to which a big disaster has come on the farmers.

Due to continuous heavy rain and hailstorm in Sendera village and surrounding areas of Mandsaur district, the crops of the farmers have been ruined. When the farmers reached the fields in the morning after overnight rain, other crops including opium have been completely destroyed. The farmers are asking for compensation from the administration by conducting a survey of the destroyed crops.

Let us tell you that opium is cultivated in Mandsaur district and its plants are also very delicate. In such a situation, opium has been completely ruined due to heavy rain and hail. Angered by the loss of crops, farmers have blocked Sitamau area on Saturday (January 08, 2022) and have demanded from the government that their damaged crop should be surveyed and compensation should be given immediately.

The farmers of the area say that this time also their crop has been completely destroyed due to the weather.

Damage in Tikamgarh district also
Intermittent rains are occurring in many parts of Madhya Pradesh due to the active Western Disturbance. Hail is also falling along with the rain. Apart from this, it is raining continuously in Tikamgarh district for the last 24 hours. Due to which there has been a 50 percent loss to the crops of gram, wheat and peas.
