Digital Desk, New Delhi. Delhi on Thursday registered a more than two-fold increase in Covid cases in the last 24 hours to 1,934 as against 928 recorded the previous day, but no fresh deaths. This information was given by issuing a government health bulletin. Meanwhile, the COVID positivity rate has gone up to 8.10 per cent, while the number of active cases has also increased slightly to 5,755.
With 1,233 patients getting cured in the last 24 hours, the total number of cured has gone up to 18,95,397. The number of patients undergoing treatment in home isolation has increased to 3,564. With the new Covid cases, the total number of cases has gone up to 19,27,394, while the death toll stands at 26,242. The number of Kovid Containment Zone in the city is 309.
Of the total 23,879 new tests – 17,549 RT-PCR and 6,330 rapid antigen – were conducted in the last 24 hours. With this, the total number of tests has gone up to 3,89,43,157, while 26,121 vaccines have been administered – in which 1,890 first dose, 5,135 second dose, and 19,096 precaution doses were given. According to the health bulletin, the total number of beneficiaries vaccinated so far is 3,47,58,218.
