digital desk, New Delhi. Due to the implementation of the election code of conduct, there will be no picture of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the Kovid vaccine certificates in five states.

A health ministry said that the ministry will implement certain filters on the Kovin platform to exclude the prime minister’s picture from the Covid certificates being given to people in the five election states.

The Election Commission on Saturday announced the schedule for assembly elections in five states — Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Manipur and Goa — along with the model code of conduct.

While Punjab, Uttarakhand and Goa will vote in a single phase on February 14, Manipur will vote in two phases on February 27 and March 3. Voting in Uttar Pradesh will be held in seven phases from February 10 to March 7. Counting of votes in all the five states will take place on March 10.
