The cases of Kovid and Omicron are increasing at full speed in the country. The total cases of the more infectious Omicron variant in India now stands at 2,630. This new variant of Corona has spread in 26 states. Most of the outbreaks are in Maharashtra, where 797 cases of Omicron have been reported. While Delhi is at number two. 465 cases of the new variant have been found here.

Explain that 236 in Rajasthan, 234 in Kerala, 226 in Karnataka, 204 in Gujarat, 121 in Tamil Nadu, 94 in Telangana, 71 in Haryana, 60 in Odisha, 31 in Uttar Pradesh, 28 in Andhra Pradesh, 20 in West Bengal, In Madhya Pradesh, 9 cases of Omicron have been found.
Most cases were found in Mumbai
In Maharashtra, 79 cases of Omicron have been found in the last 24 hours. In this 57 patients have been confirmed in Mumbai, 7 in Thane, 6 in Nagpur, 5 in Pune (city), 3 in Pune (rural) and 1 in Pimpri Chinchwad.
Omicron havoc in Kerala
On Thursday, 50 new cases of Omicron were registered in Kerala, taking the number of people affected by the new variant in the state to 284. Of the new cases, 30 have been identified as contacts of infected persons, of those found to be infected with Omicron, 32 were returnees from the UAE, while several others were from Qatar, the US, the UK, Italy, Ukraine, Sweden, Singapore and Maldives have travel history.
Haryana CM’s private secretary Omicron infected
On Thursday, the personal secretary of Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar was found to be Omicron positive. Right now the total number of patients of the new variant in Haryana has gone up to 71. Along with this, restrictions have been imposed in the state regarding Corona.
Rajasthan CM Corona infected
Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has also become corona infected. Apart from this, Union Minister of State for Health Bharti Pawar and Minister of State for Home Nityanand Rai have come under the grip of Kovid. Along with this, Minister SP Singh Baghel in Agra also tweeted information about corona being infected on Thursday.
