PM eVIDYA Program: Important Points

One Nation One Digital Platform: Diksha.gov.in (eContent)
Diksha Platform will be established by the government to provide digital content in all schools across the country, on this platform a common portal will be created on the lines of One Nation One Digital Platform for schools of all states and union territories. All books from 1 to 12 will be available in digital form on this portal. These books can be used with the help of a QR Code.
Online Courses Permission
More than 100 universities in the country have been given permission to start online classes and courses. These courses will benefit those people who are unable to go to college and study due to some reason.
Educational TV Channel (SwayamPrabha)
A special TV channel will be opened for online classes for each class from class 1 to 12. With the help of this channel, those students will get the facility to study through TV, who are not able to afford high-speed internet.
The government has already started the SwayamPrabha channel group. Swayamprabha is a group of 34 DTH channels on which high-quality educational content is broadcast in different languages. These channels can be watched on Free Dish or any cable operator and DTH.
Manodarpan Portal
A platform named Manodarpan will be launched for the mental development of the students, and teachers. With the help of this portal, students, teachers, and families going through mental stress and depression will be helped to overcome all this.
