Digital Desk, New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to attend the G7 summit and visit the United Arab Emirates and Germany.

Modi will visit Schloss Elmau in Germany on 26 and 27 June at the invitation of German Chancellor Olaf Scholz for the G7 summit under the German Presidency.

During the summit, the Prime Minister is expected to speak in two sessions, covering environment, energy, climate, food security, health, gender equality and democracy, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said in a statement.

In an effort to strengthen international cooperation on important issues, other democracies such as Argentina, Indonesia, Senegal and South Africa have also been invited, he said, on the sidelines of the summit, with the prime minister holding bilateral meetings with the leaders of some of the participating countries. Will hold meetings.

The invitation to the G7 summit is in keeping with the tradition of strong and close partnership and high-level political contacts between India and Germany.

The Prime Minister’s last visit to Germany for the 6th edition of the India-Germany Inter-Governmental Consultations (IGC) was on May 2.

The Foreign Ministry said that the Prime Minister would congratulate Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on his election as the new President of the UAE and Ruler of Abu Dhabi.

The Prime Minister will leave the UAE on the same night on 28 June.
