Retirement of Teacher: In Rajasthan’s Bhilwara, on his retirement, the villagers gave such a farewell to the teacher that people have rarely seen or heard such a thing before. The teachers, who had completed their service, were given a memorable farewell by the villagers by taking out a procession on an elephant with songs and music. This unique case of farewell of teacher is from Arvad village of Bhilwara district of Rajasthan.
On his farewell to Bhanwarlal Sharma, a senior teacher teaching at Government Senior Higher Secondary School, Arvad, the villagers took out a procession on his retirement by sitting on an elephant. This honor was remembered for the education given by him in the last 20 years as a parent of children.
Lab built in the school with the amount of retirement
Bhanwarlal Sharma gave his full strength for the physical development of the school along with giving education to the students and made a computer lab for the students by paying 200000 rupees from the amount received from his retirement.
The people of the village organized a poet’s conference
Before taking out the procession of teacher Bhanwarlal Sharma on an elephant, the villagers had organized a Kavi Sammelan in the village a day earlier in his honor. Gopal Lal Kumawat, a teacher working in this school, says that senior teacher Bhanwarlal Sharma, along with teaching the children in the school, always motivated them as their guardian. As a result of that, the students and the villagers together sent him on an elephant.
