Republic Day: Traffic rules changed in Delhi before the parade, know otherwise there will be trouble

Republic Day Parade Rehearsal Update:- Friends, as we all know that like every year, this year also the preparations for the Republic Day Parade are going to start from India Gate in Delhi on the scheduled route, during the rehearsal of this parade to the general public. An advisory has been issued by Delhi Police so that there is no problem. According to which the preparations for the Republic Day parade will be done on the Rajpath from Chowk to India Gate from 9 o’clock to 12 o’clock daily on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

In the advisory issued by Delhi Police regarding the preparations for the parade to be held in Delhi’s Republic Day this year, it has been told that during the parade from 9 am to 12 noon, Rajpat-Rafi Marg, Rajpat Janpat, Rajpat-Man Singh Road and Rajpat Traffic will be banned till C Hexagon, in which Rajpat will be closed from Vijay Chowk to India Gate.

Passengers will be able to use these routes during parade rehearsals

During the Republic Day Parade, the traffic police asked the commuters to use Lajpat Rai Marg-Mathura Road Bhairon Road-Ring Ring Road instead of Ring Road (Ashram Chowk Saraekla Khan-IP Flyover Rajghat) for traveling from North to South and South to North. Along with the advice, the passengers have been requested to follow the traffic rules, road discipline, instructions of all police personnel.

Apart from this, keeping in view the convenience of the passengers, Arvind Safdarjung Road, Kamal Atakurk Marg, Kautilya Marg-Sardar Patel Marg-Madad, Teresa Crescent-AML-Baba Kharak Singh Marg, Prithvi Road-Rajesh Pilot Marg- Subramaniam Recruitment Marg-Mathura Road-Bhairon Road- Passengers will also be able to use Ring, Barfkhan-Azad Market-Rani Jhansi Flyover-Panchkuiya Road-Hanuman Murtivande Mataram Marg-Dhaula Kuan.

It is advised to use these routes also.

Ring Road – Bhairon Road – Mathura Road – Subramaniam Bharti Marg – Rajesh Pilot Marg – Prithvi Raj Road – Safdarjung Road – Kamal Atakurk Marg – Panjsheel Marg – Semyon Bolivar Marg – Upper Reservad It has been advised to use the One Day Mataram route etc.

These routes will remain closed for buses during the preparations for the parade.

During the preparations for the parade, the movement of buses may also be banned, including all the buses coming from South Delhi to New Delhi Railway Station, Maulana Azad Road, Krishna Mainon Mar, Chanakyapuri, Tyagaraj Marg and Vishwa Yuvak Kendra. Apart from this, buses going to Delhi Railway Station will only be allowed via Sardar Patel Marg, Sinom Bolivar Marg, Shankar Road, Park Street and Mandir Marg.
