Rythu Bandhu, also known as Farmer’s Invest Support Scheme(FISS) is a welfare scheme launched by the Government of Telangana. The scheme was announced by the Chief Minister of Telangana, K. Chandrashekhar Rao at the Farmers Coordination Committee (Rythu Samanvaya Samithi) conference at Jayashankar Agriculture University on 25 February 2018. The scheme came to implementation on 10 May 2018 and a budget of Rs.12,000 crores was finalized for the year 2018-19.

Rythu Bandhu became the first-ever Indian farmer investment support, where the cash is directly paid to the farmer. Under this scheme, the farmers around the state are given Rs.5000 per acre twice a year. The aim of this scheme is to provide monetary help for investment to the farmer. Rythu Bandhu Amount Details

The Rythu Bandhu scheme under Govt. of Telangana provides a monetary help of Rs.5000 per acre twice a year. Two times in the year, during Rabi and Kharif, every farmer will receive a cheque. There is no limit set for the number of acres for land. If a farmer has a large piece of land and the amount exceeds Rs.49,000, then they will receive the remaining amount in a second check.
