Ashoknagar (Navduniya representative). Under the three-tier panchayat elections in Ashoknagar sub-division of the district, the first phase of polling will be held at 272 polling stations. The voting will take place on Saturday, June 25. For this, the distribution of materials will be sent to the polling parties on Friday itself. In this, 71 buses have been acquired to carry election parties, due to which there will be a shortage of passenger buses on various routes for two days. In such a situation, those traveling to their destination will have to face trouble.
It is to be known that three-tier panchayat elections are being held in three phases in Ashoknagar district. Polling will be held in Ashoknagar in the first phase, Isagarh in the second phase and Mungawali and Chanderi in the third phase. Under the three-tier Panchayat election, 11 Zilla Panchayat members, 93 Janpad Panchayat members, 328 Sarpanch and 4995 Panchs are to be elected in the district. Polling is to be held for 328 gram panchayats in the district. There are total 04 lakh 77 thousand 308 voters in the district. In this, there are 02 lakh 52 thousand 155 male voters, 02 lakh 25 thousand 146 female voters and 07 other voters. 907 polling stations have been set up in the district for the polling to be held in these three phases. A total of 114 sector officers have been appointed in the district. Three-tier Panchayat election will be done by ballot paper. In such a situation, the first phase of voting will be done on June 25. The Transport Department has acquired 71 buses from the district for the first phase of polling. In such a situation, passengers traveling on Chanderi, Mungawali, Guna, Isagarh and Bhopal routes will have to face trouble for two days. Because there will be fewer buses left for passengers on these routes.
Material will be distributed from 11 tables
Material will be distributed from Nehru Degree College for the first phase of voting. This material will be distributed on Friday. For this, 11 different tables are being set up, from where material will be given to the employees. After taking the material, all the polling parties will leave for their polling stations from here. Collector and District Election Officer R Uma Maheshwari has directed that no employee shall spend the night in any private person’s house or hotel, but arrangements have been made for the employees to stay at the polling stations in the village. If someone stays at some other place, then an FIR will be lodged against him.
Liquor shops will remain closed
According to the order issued by Collector and District Election Officer R Uma Maheshwari for the three-tier Panchayat General Election 2022, keeping in view the polling to be held on June 25 in Ashoknagar, District Panchayat of the district, an order has been issued to keep liquor shops closed. Till the end of the polling, all the liquor shops coming within the geographical limit of Ashoknagar and within 5 km radius of the district panchayat will be completely closed and the purchase and sale will be closed.
71 buses have been acquired for ferrying the polling parties. These buses will leave with the polling parties on Friday. These are being collected by standing in Nehru Degree College from Thursday itself.
