Dr Neeti Shikha, a passenger, tweeted, “New SpiceJet rule, if you want to get the boarding card at the check in counter, you have to pay extra. It’s like telling a customer in a restaurant that if you want to eat on a plate, you’ll be charged. Wonder what the consumer forum is doing.

Shikha said how can an airline charge a consumer extra for a ticket that has already been paid for. Recently, Scindia had taken cognizance of another incident at the airport. In which a handicapped child was stopped from boarding by IndiGo at Ranchi airport. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has sought a report from IndiGo on the incident.
