Taj Mahal Tourist Reduce Due To Corona Virus Infection In Agra

Within a week, due to the uncontrollable pace of corona infection, the steps of the tourists coming to see the Taj Mahal are stalling. Within seven days, 75 percent of the tourists at the Taj were reduced. On Saturday, 37,834 tourists had reached the Taj and there was a ruckus over the tickets, she was not seen on this Saturday. Only 9547 tourists visited the Taj Mahal. This number is only 25 percent or a quarter from last Saturday. Not only the Taj Mahal, but all the monuments including the Agra Fort, there has been a tremendous decline in the number of tourists. People are afraid to go to tourist places due to the week end curfew and the fear of lockdown in many cities of the country. Weekend bookings are being canceled in hotels.

Along with Corona, the effect of bad weather was also seen on the monuments on Saturday. The number of tourists at monuments like Fatehpur Sikri, Etmaddaula, Mahtab Bagh, Rambagh and Sikandra declined by 10 per cent since last Saturday. A record-breaking 1286 tourists had come to Mahtab Bagh on Saturday, but on this Saturday their number was reduced to just 98. The same was the case with Akbar’s tomb, Sikandra, where only ten percent of the tourists remained.

Youth returning from Bangalore, Mumbai by flight

Due to the rapidly increasing infection of Corona in cities like Bangalore, Pune, Mumbai etc., work from home was started instead of offices, due to which youth of Agra and neighboring districts living in these cities are returning to Agra’s Kheria airport by flight. . Indigo Airlines flight coming from Bangalore is completely full for two days. 180 passengers are coming to Agra from Bangalore and Mumbai, while the number of people leaving is increasing to 120. Before the Corona case increased, the number of passengers going from Agra was more than 180, while the number of tourists coming was less.
