Lalu Prasad’s elder son Tej Pratap Yadav will now have to wait till September 8 for divorce from wife Aishwarya Rai. After the attempt of conciliation by the Patna High Court was unsuccessful, it was being said that the decision will come on Thursday, but due to personal reasons of Justice Ashutosh Kumar, the hearing could not be completed, after which the next date for hearing has been fixed on September 8. Bihar government minister Tej Pratap Yadav has filed for divorce from his wife in the court.
While his wife Aishwarya Rai wants to be with him. This is the reason why the High Court first tried to bring about a reconciliation between the two parties. For this, the court made both of them sit face to face and questioned them. But Tej Pratap did not agree to live with Aishwarya Rai.

After this, the court tried to settle the matter by sitting both the families together. For this, a meeting was held between the two families in Patna Zoo in Patna Zoo. The responsibility of holding the meeting of both the parties was given by the court to his lawyer Jagannath Singh and PN Shahi. But this meeting could not take place due to Lalu Prasad’s ill health. After this, on August 5, a meeting was held between the two families at Patna Zoo.

In the meeting, on behalf of Tej Pratap Yadav, his mother Rabri Devi, while on behalf of Aishwarya, his father Chandrika Rai had reached. But here too, there was no consensus between the two sides. Rabri Devi said that ‘when Tej Pratap is not ready, what can we do in this?’ Tej Pratap Yadav and Aishwarya Rai were married on 12 May 2018, Aishwarya Rai is the granddaughter of former Bihar Chief Minister Daroga Prasad Rai.

Due to this, Aishwarya’s lawyer PN Shahi did not come to the court in the High Court hearing. Then further time was sought from Aishwarya’s side. Nilanjan Chatterjee, an aide of Aishwarya’s lawyer, sought a stay from the court but the court had refused. In this case, Tej Pratap’s lawyer had demanded from the court that the matter should be heard at the earliest.
