Telangana: Constable posted in CRPF fired at SI, then blew himself up

There was a dispute between a constable and SI posted in CRPF 39 Battalion in Mulugu district of Telangana. The matter became so serious that on sight, Cook Commandant Stephen opened fire on CRPF SI Umesh Chandra.

There was a stir in the CRPF camp at 8.30 am on Sunday. There was a fight between the Cook Commandant and the SI. After this, Stephen fired at SI Umesh Chandra with his weapon. Later he committed suicide by shooting himself.

Mulugu district superintendent of police said that SI Umesh Chandra died on the spot after firing. While Cook Commandant Stephen was seriously injured. The injured were taken to Warangal Hospital.

Police said that the incident is of Venkatapuram divisional headquarters. The matter is under investigation. Along with this, it is being seen that what was the reason for the controversy.
