In Katni, Madhya Pradesh, the police has arrested a youth for theft. It is being told that the accused needed money for marriage. That’s why he carried out the theft to arrange money. The police arrested the accused and sent him to jail. Apart from the cash, the police also recovered a mobile phone and a motorcycle purchased from him with the stolen money.
Theft to arrange marriage
In fact, in Madhya Pradesh Gramin Bank located in Barwara tehsil of Katni district, a few days ago, thieves broke the wall of the bank and stole Rs 1 lakh 27 thousand 212. Whose complaint was lodged by the bank manager in the Barwara police station and a case of theft was registered. The police arrested the accused within 72 hours and sent him to the lock-up instead of the pavilion.
Police recovered stolen money and goods
Police station in-charge Ankit Mishra told this matter to his higher officials and on his instructions, a special team was formed and started the search for the thief. During this, the police got information from the informer that Subhash Yadav (29 years old), a resident of Rohaniyan village of Barwara police station area, was unnecessarily giving party to his friends. The police took the accused into custody on the basis of suspicion and strictly interrogated him and he broke down in front of the strictness of the police.
1 lakh 27 thousand 212 stolen from bank
The accused told that he carried out the theft in the bank. During interrogation with the police, the accused told that he had to get married and he did not have money. That is why he stole one lakh 27 thousand 212 rupees by breaking the wall of Madhya Pradesh Gramin Bank Barwara on the night of 6th and 7th January as soon as he got the opportunity.
Police sent the accused to jail
Police said that a mobile phone purchased for stolen money along with Rs 1 lakh 14 thousand in cash and a bike used in carrying out the incident and a branded jacket have been confiscated. The accused has been produced before the court. When the accused was taken into custody and interrogated intensively, he confessed his crime. The accused told that he is going to get married and due to financial condition not being good, he was planning to steal the bank for several days.
