Digital Desk, Bhopal. Monsoon has already entered in many states of the country. The monsoon which started from Kerala at the end of May has now reached the North Indian states. Due to the rain, where people have got relief from the scorching heat. At the same time, excess rain has come as a disaster for the people at some places. Some states of North East India are currently facing the problem of floods.
Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains in Karnataka, Kerala and Goa for the coming five days. Apart from this, the Meteorological Department has issued heavy rain alert for Bihar and Jharkhand. The Meteorological Department gave the weather information by tweeting.

Monsoon picks up pace in Madhya Pradesh
It rained heavily in the state capital Bhopal this evening, giving relief to the people from the heat and humidity throughout the day. There were reports of power outages and falling trees on the way from many areas of the capital due to the rain. Apart from this, the clouds rained heavily in Satna too. 1 inch of rain was recorded here. During this, there was light drizzle in Dhar, Khandwa, Indore and Gwalior.
The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for heavy rain in many areas of the state till the morning of June 23. According to the department, there may be rain and thundershowers in Shahdol, Damoh, Sagar, Ujjain, Narmadapuram and Indore.
These areas of the state are waiting for the monsoon
Although the monsoon is gaining momentum in the state, but there are some areas which are still waiting for the monsoon. These areas include some districts including Gwalior and Chambal divisions. Monsoon has not been so kind here as it has happened in other areas of the state.
According to meteorologists, due to the lack of low-pressure in the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal, at present it is raining due to the formation of local system and getting moisture. There is no system in place yet. In such a condition, one may have to wait for at least 1 week for continuous rain. Incessant rain is expected from the end of June onwards.
