- Many rebel BJP MLAs including Swami Prasad Maurya joined the SP
- In the rally, Maurya attacked CM BJP and BSP fiercely.
Swami Prasad Maurya, who resigned from the BJP government of Uttar Pradesh, joined the Samajwadi Party on Friday. During this, Maurya made a lot of rhetoric about the BJP as well as the Bahujan Samaj Party. Angered by this, the BSP has also targeted SP leader Maurya. Party General Secretary Satish Chandra Mishra released a video and launched a strong counterattack on Swami Prasad Maurya.
BSP leader Satish Chandra Mishra released a video and wrote, “Remember your old statement, Swami Prasad Maurya ji, what message are you giving to the society by going to the BJP which divides the society and the Samajwadi Party which gives protection to the criminals? Those who abused the Samajwadi Party have sat on the lap of the Samajwadi themselves today.
In fact, in the video released on Koo App, Swami Prasad Maurya is seen saying, “Sisters and daughters are becoming victims of misconduct, atrocities, molesting and obscene acts on a large scale in the state. It has become difficult for sisters and daughters to go to school, college, office, market. But the SP government, which gives protection to goons, mafia and criminals, has failed to stop the oppression of women today and the Parliamentary Affairs Minister is trying to hide his sins by giving the figures of Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. ”
Why is BSP angry?
Maurya, who switched from BSP to BJP and then to SP, had said, “Whoever I leave with, his whereabouts are not known. Behenji (Mayawati) is a living example of this. She had moved away from the principles of Babasaheb and Kanshi Ram, she had become proud. Behen Mayawati gave the second slogan that ‘Which as much preparation, her participation.’ She stood with the bag people.
These leaders joined SP
Significantly, 6 MLAs, including Swami Prasad Maurya and Dharam Singh Saini, who left the post of cabinet ministers from the Yogi government, officially joined the Samajwadi Party on Friday. Everyone was given membership of the party in the presence of Akhilesh Yadav.
