Weather Udpate Today 11 Jan 2022, Rain Alert: In the last few days, it rained heavily in many areas of North India including the capital Delhi. However, now in the coming days, rain can move towards many other states. The Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning regarding this. Due to Western Disturbance, the eastern part of the country may receive heavy rain today (Tuesday). The Meteorological Department has also issued Yellow and Orange alerts. On the other hand, the chilling winter may once again return to North India including Delhi. In many areas including Delhi, Jaipur, Chandigarh, a drop in minimum temperature can be recorded.

Chance of rain in these four states from today
RK Jenamani, Senior Scientist of the Meteorological Department told news agency ANI, “Western disturbance is moving towards Odisha, Jharkhand, Bengal and Bihar, due to which these four states will get rain. We have issued a yellow alert in these states from January 11 to January 13.” Also, Odisha is already under orange alert for January 11 and 12. There is also a possibility of hailstorm in Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and Odisha on January 11. If the official of the Meteorological Department is to be believed, then there may be a return of cold in North India. Dense fog may remain in Rajasthan, Haryana. Apart from this, no rain has been predicted in the national capital Delhi till January 16. It is known that till Sunday, there was heavy rain in the capital and its surrounding areas.

What will be the minimum temperature in Delhi?
According to the Meteorological Department, once again cold may return in Delhi. Today’s minimum temperature can remain up to 7 degree Celsius and maximum temperature can be up to 19 degree Celsius. Today’s minimum temperature in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh, is expected to go up to 6 degrees Celsius and maximum temperature to 23 degrees Celsius. Fog will remain here as well. On the other hand, if we talk about Chandigarh, today’s minimum temperature can be 10 degree Celsius. The maximum temperature has been predicted to be 22 degree Celsius.

Today in Jaipur, Rajasthan, the mercury can go down to 6 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature will remain up to 18 degrees Celsius. The sky is expected to remain clear. The minimum temperature here today can remain up to three degrees and the maximum can be up to 10 degrees Celsius. Today’s minimum temperature in Srinagar is likely to go up to minus 11 degree Celsius and maximum to 6 degree Celsius.
