Weather Update Today, Delhi Rainfall: In India, due to the effect of Western Disturbance, there is snowfall in the mountainous states, while in the plains, rain activities are going on between fog and cold. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain in most states of North India during the three days from the Meteorological Department (IMD).
According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), there will be slight relief from cold wave in North India for the next 3-4 days, but IMD has predicted rain in different parts of Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan today i.e. on January 08. have guessed. According to the weather forecast, apart from Jammu and Kashmir, there is a possibility of rain and snow in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand on Saturday.
Flights in Srinagar are affected due to heavy snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir. According to the information given by the Srinagar Airport, the visibility is very low due to the continuous snowfall, due to which flights have been affected.

According to the officials of the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the same weather condition will continue in the hills and plains till January 09 due to the influence of one after another western disturbance. In the national capital Delhi, on January 8, the minimum temperature is likely to remain 14 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature can be up to 18 degrees Celsius amid rain activities. Intermittent moderate rain and thundershowers are expected in Delhi with light and strong winds.

Dense fog is very likely to occur during the next 24 hours over West Uttar Pradesh and over East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal and Sikkim during the next 2 days. The Meteorological Department has predicted rain in many states of North India till January 09.

Moderate rain and snow may occur in Uttarakhand and Himachal. Light to moderate rain may occur over Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, parts of Rajasthan, parts of Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. Different hailstorm activities are also possible in these states. Light rain may occur at one or two places over eastern parts of Uttar Pradesh, isolated parts of Gujarat, Vidarbha and Marathwada.
